I use information to respond to enquiries, arrange consultations, decide whether a service is suitable, provide and adapt coaching, keep appropriate client and business records, and meet legal or safeguarding responsibilities.
Depending on the situation, this is because you have asked me to take steps before providing a service, because it is needed to deliver our coaching agreement, because I have a legitimate business or safeguarding reason, because the law requires it, or because you have given consent. Health information is handled with particular care and only where there is an appropriate condition for using it.
The quick chat uses your answers, name and phone number to prepare a WhatsApp link. This website does not keep those details in a database. Nothing is sent to E-J until you choose to continue and press send in WhatsApp. WhatsApp then processes the message under its own privacy terms.
EJ PT uses trusted services where they are needed: Google Forms and Google Workspace for forms and administration, Calendly for bookings, Everfit for active-client coaching, WhatsApp for messages, and YouTube for video. Facebook and LinkedIn links take you to those platforms. Each provider handles information under its own privacy terms.
I keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to provide coaching, resolve questions, protect clients and meet insurance, tax or other legal obligations. Records are reviewed and deleted or securely archived when they are no longer required. You can ask about the retention period for a particular record.
Enquiries about a child or young person should be made by their parent, guardian, school or responsible adult. Safeguarding and school-related records are handled in line with the relevant organisation’s procedures.
The site uses essential browser storage to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional content. This preference is necessary to respect your choice. Calendly, Google Forms and YouTube embeds are blocked until you accept them. If accepted, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies. You can reopen Cookie choices from the footer at any time.
You may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate details, deletion where appropriate, restriction, portability in some cases, or object to certain uses. You may also withdraw consent where consent is being relied on.
Contact hello@ej-pt.co.uk first so I can help. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
I’m happy to explain how your information will be used before you submit anything.
